Timeline

Here is our timeline for the progress on our home.  We officially built this house during the second snowiest winter in Indiana history behind the blizzard of 1978.  Because of this, our progress was delayed for about a month and does not reflect the normal progression with Ryan Homes. 


2013

November
11/10 - Signed initial paperwork with Ryan
11/14 - First Meeting with Financial Dude
11/19 - Guardian Meeting
11/23 - Meeting with Design Gal to finalize choices

December
12/13 - Initial Loan Approval

2014

January
1/06 - First meeting with PM (after 11" of snow)
1/15 - Basement Dug
1/17 - Footers Poured

February
2/03 - Basement walls poured
2/18 - Basement foundation poured
2/24 - Framing began

March
3/01 - Roof put on
3/05 - Windows put in 
3/07 - Shingles went on
3/10 - HVAC finishes up, plumbing starts
3/11 - Electrician began, 
          Site visit with Guardian to confirm cable placing
3/13 - Insulation completed
3/14 - Pre drywall meeting
3/17 - City and Energy Star inspections
3/18 - Drywall begins
3/20 - Incorrect Brick begins
3/22 - Drywall complete, incorrect brick comes down
3/26 - Priming complete
3/27 - Vinyl and Tile Flooring installed
3/28 - Garage slab poured
3/31 - Doors, Trim and Cabinets begin

April
4/02 - Trim painted
4/03 - Plumbing hardware installed, banisters stained
4/04 - Light fixtures installed
4/07 - Framer puts walls more in square, drywaller touch up, stone mason to              complete fireplace
4/08 - Bricking began
4/09 - New tile delivered, second coat of paint goes on
4/10 - Hardwood installing, brick complete,
           Offer accepted on our current house!
4/14 - First carpet installed, handles installed
4/15 - Gutters installed
4/16 - Driveway and porch poured

Future Dates
4/17 - Granite installing
4/18 - Appliances delivering
4/21 - Shelving installing
4/23 - Pre Settlement Meeting
4/28 - Closing
4/30 - Moving company scheduled
4/29 - Internet set up
5/01 - Utilities being transferred (Electric, gas, water, trash)
5/23 - Closing on our current house
